Router Configuration

  1. Open your Internet browser.

  2. Enter the address "http://fritz.box" or "http://192.168.178.1". The FRITZ!Box interface is displayed.

  3. Click on "Settings" then on "Advanced Settings" then on "Internet".

  4. Click on "Account Information" and select the following options "Internet connection via DSL", "Use one Internet connection for all computers (router)" and "Account information required (PPP0E/PPPoA connection)"

  5. Enter the user name and password, tick the option "Maintain Internet connection permanently" and untick the option "Delay disconnection by provider to the period between"

  6. The option "Define ATM settings manually" must be ticked with VPI: 8, VCI: 35, Encapsulation: PPPoE
