Transferring a file on an FTP server
-
Once you have logged on to the FTP server, hold the Ctrl key down and select one or more files in the "Local Site" section to be transferred.
-
Then drag the file(s) to the "Remote Site" section.

-
NB: You can create directories on the server to organise your files, just as you can on your hard disk. To do this, right click in the "Remote Site" section and select "Create a directory". The transferred file(s) will be added to the open directory.
-
The progress of the file transfer is shown at the bottom of the window.

-
Once the file has been transferred, it can be seen in the "Remote Site" section.
