Mail Relay

If you have your own e-mail server and want to add extra security to your e-mail service Visual Online's Mail Relay service offers you the following solutions.

2 configurations available:

1) ETRN MX Backup:

If your primary server becomes, unavailable Visual Online holds your e-mails in a message queue. Messages will be delivered to your e-mail server as soon as it becomes available again.

2) Primary + Secondary MX:

Visual Online's e-mail servers will be the primary and secondary entry level servers for all your e-mail traffic. This has the advantage that you can secure your e-mail infrastructure as you only need to accept connections from Visual Online's e-mail servers.
